Portugal trip October 2021

I am happy to be able to travel again and especially to Portugal to visit some of my best friends living in Porto (actually Vila Nova de Gaia on the opposite side of the Douro river and old Porto town).

During the last 20+ years I have been there more or less once a year, but regretfully due to the COVID issues not for the last 2 years. So it is great to see them again.

As I bought a small bus a few years ago and had a “camper” interior built, we (that is me and my dog Jibbe, a Frisian Stabij) try to travel more and more. But this is by far the longest trip planned (over 5.000 Km). Hopefully next Summer to the North Cape, which is even further, <7.000 Km.
